The night skyride definitely get so much scarier than day! Imagine it's all darkness beneath you and your surroundings are the empty skyride carriage? ~~

Alright guys, I'm starting work this coming Friday!!!! Was told that I have to be in formal wear during my first day as I have to meet the GM and several people...I'm pretty alright with it until they described the formal wear to be like those business wear type?! I'm so so not sure whether my formal wear can be like those designer-formal or have to be like business-type with suit? I should be mixing and matching them haha! As long is chic. ...I'm getting nervous!! Anyway fyi I will be working in a hotel as the graphic designer handling their whole branding (image). Greater responsibilities now which I can't help feeling the stress even though I have not started work yet. Maybe it was the switch which I'm not used to. Lost of working momentum? Different work place culture? Hmmm...left with 4 FREEDOM days!! Hahaha. Will try hard to get myself ready and GOoOOO!!!!! "The greatest enemy is yourself"..let us all overcome it kay?! =)

(To be frank...I have no confidence that this is a wise choice...but since decided...will just give it a shot for the first 3 months...)

Mid Autumn

If not you can get back here for the answer on Sunday night. Enjoy!

我的中秋愿望:希望all screwed up things to be over & really hope to be admitted into nie of art teaching. (need to wait for 3-4 weeks to get the initial result)

Anyway have you guys gotten your mooncakes yet? So far I have got mooncakes from Fairmont, Royal Hotel & Goodwood Park. Let us share our thoughts on it? My Fairmont mooncakes are assorted mini snow-skin mooncakes. There are Champagne Truffle & Chocolate Ganache, Strawberry & Dark Chocolate, Baileys Chocolate and Rum & Rasin Chocolate. Those from Royal Hotel are the normal mooncakes with egg yolks and 金华火腿from Goodwood Park. I didn't really like the snow-skin mooncakes with the chocolates & alcohol...was abit bitter in taste. For the rest I quite like it. Haha.

WOoo I just tried the Red Bean moon cakes from Marriott Hotel...niceee, it taste like Red Bean Ice-cream!

Oh Day 2!

Well well, it's Day 2! Haha.
Here is the encounter as a personal assistance for a day...

We went for breakfast at about 8am and coincidentally met one of our uncle at the coffeeshop. So we had our meal and my dad had a chat with him. After that, we sent our uncle home as we were on the way too. By 9.30am, we reached the hotel. Today we would be driving the hotel sales staffs to deliver their moon cakes to their respective corporate clients. Once everything is loaded and ready, my dad discussed the journey with them and planned out the route. Basically we had a tight timeline to keep to and so we got to be sure of the fastest and 'shun lu' way. Everyone is rushing for time and my dad too. We were dropping and picking them up again at their different destinations as they deliver. Well, time past and we had a quick lunch together. It was pretty weird for me to have lunch at the same table with strangers...but this wasn't the first time...we were always made to do so. My dad treated them at lunch before we rushed for other destinations. However, this time round they have to run haha. We were running out of time! So now at every stops, they jumped out of the car even before my dad stops completely...and they ran, crossed the road in the middle, across the traffic and up to the building. Wow, hero! i thought haha. At the end of the day, we have almost traveled the whole of Singapore. While waiting for them, you could also see that there were other people on road like us rushing around to deliver moon cakes to clients. And at some point, you could also see a person outside the building holding on to several different bags of moon cakes (course they are a big client). My dad had another job at the hotel at 3pm, but we were late by half an hour. So we jumped out the car, helped to unload the leftover mooncakes and my dad fetched the group of tourists to catch their plane. As for me, I stayed in the hotel as there wouldn't be enough seat for me. I was thus given a 'princess' treatment in the hotel. Look at the photo below, it was as if I booked the whole coffee house haha. I was being led to the seat, given the menu and was told to order anything I like. It is on house for me! I was pretty full at the time so I only ordered the banana boat. I was eyeing their red wine actually haha. Now I can understand how a princess feel if they book the whole restuarant to herself. Boring & I feel weird. You can feel that all eyes were on you, the chefs & waiters whispering away...wondering who is this big shot? Hahaha! That sale staff who I was closest to left me alone to handle his work in the office. Anyway it was so so boring! I waited for about an hour before my dad came to look for me at the coffeehouse. We will be having the second round of delivering and had only less than 3 hours to complete before people started knocking off. As I walked towards the lobby, that 2 sale staffs actually ran down together from different directions haha (good 'mo qi' ar). So we hurried to load everything to the minibus and get on the journey. There were several times we drove onto the F1 route and my dad sped to 'test' the road and the turns wahaha. During this second trip, there were more funny stuffs which we couldn't help laughing away in the car. That sale staff who I was more close to was so silly and funny. He love running Alot and often act like if he was in a movie. Running across streets, from building to building...and ya he can run very very fast. Haha! The day ended at about 6.30pm and we dropped them back to the hotel before heading home.

What a day 2! Hahaha.

Oh Day!

"The flat will be undergoing demolition of wall, tiles etc. on the 8 & 9 September, 9am to 5pm..."

This is the notice that have been stuck on the wall outside the unit directly above mine. Can you imagine how deafening the noise are when they start all the drilling? Oh gosh, basically I have to spend my day out. I took my laptop and traveled to J8, had my breakfast Mc Griddles with egg & Orange Juice at Mac. Sat there for about an hour plus, I did a bit of leftover logo doodles which I have to submit tonight for the company I went for interview. After which, I packed my stuffs and headed to the library. Plugging in the charger and set up my laptop, I put those doodles that I did earlier into the final artwork. Spent about 3 & a half hour in the library, I went to walk around J8 to stretch my limbs haha. Initially I wanted to catch a movie but there was no slot at 3.30pm. Thus, I went Yoshinoya for lunch. I ordered the Salmon bowl in student price (good thing that I kept my student card) and found myself a little corner. I was observing the people around me while having my meal, and saw many interesting sides of human. Pretty interesting haha. Then, I took out my laptop again to organise & finalise all those artworks to be send out. Oh ya, I witnessed the food photography shoots at the food court. I supposed one of the stalls hire the professional photographer to take photos of their dishes. The photographer was setting up the props, arranging the 'model', putting on a bit of makeup on the food before the actual take. Anyway, I was done with my stuffs by 5pm and my mum came to meet me at Yoshin. So I accompanied her around. My dad came to fetch us at about 6.45pm for dinner. However, I requested for half an hour back home first to manage an email which I promised to by tonight. We went to the blk 300+ for our dinner and got back home by 8.30pm.

Wow what a day haha. Tmr the drilling will start again and I gonna get out of the house and be my dad's personal assistance at work. My music neighbour had move out...I'm gonna miss their piano and singing...it's raining tonight...

thirty-th august

8am: Sentosa Siloso Beach (morning walk)

+ Supporting cousin at Ripcurl Beach Volley competition

6.30pm - 4am: Esplanade / Baybeats event

We caught a few performances at baybeats, namely The Karl Maka (above), Electrico and Agrikulture. Of these three, I only prefer The Karl Maka. Electrico is our local famous alternative/rock band. But I swear it will gonna be my first and last time attending their 'concert' ha ha! The audience got so so rough! We were being pushed, stepped on the toes and even have to push the front people back in order to protect ourselves dot...haha. It was completely a different experience for a non-rocker...anyway met a group of our coursemates at the performance too. At night, since we missed the last train, we decided to sit around at the lobby of fullerton hotel and chat. We had a kinda fulfilling conversations. All the best peeps! haha! (XZE)
