I guess everyone will go through this period of wondering what they are really gonna do in life? Let's hope everything goes well...I believe the door will open up for us when it is time? Feel so lost when the olympic ended and I am alone at home!! The good thing is I do not have to work and managed to catch their live telecast everyday ha ha. But how long more do I have to wait for the things I want? Waiting challenge my confidence. I need a quick respond. The sudden change of weather on sunday really kills me too. I was down with cough & slight fever...but was alright now, just caught a cough. What a fast come and go ha ha. Gonna get back to life now.

The Exciting Games

Current mood: Busy
(but happy that Singapore Table Tennis won the silver medal in Olympic haha. It was an exciting game in the final against China. Michael Phelps too, swam to the 8 gold medals while breaking the world records. The gymnastic battle between China, USA and Russia was also intensive, having the China team to win the Americans by chance. But Americans won the individuals haha. They did better though. I was amazed by the girl weight lifting part too, watching the petite players attempting for a heavier weights. Ronald Susilo was not concentrating during the game man, he could have been better! Tao Li performed. 5 Claps to all haha!) Concentration + Determination + Hard Works = Success

Am still in the mist of preparing my portfolio (not an easy task dude, don't ask me why)...so ya. Zhiqi is not slacking at all! She find that she doesn't owe anyone explanation for being at home. 1. The Bejing's Olympic opening is really spectacular and full of surprises. I guess it blew us away? I just kept saying, "Wow, wow, wow!. Look at them...they have already gone so far!" The next round will be at London in 2012...wondering if they will be surprising us too? Haha.

2. One reason I love my neighbourhood...I was being woken up in the morning by these voices of beautiful little kids!! They were having the National Day celebration! Argh I misses those days haha. My bro was the first to wake up then he ran over to my room and shouted, "Hey you will love this!". My sis & I instantly jumped out of our bed and went over to the window to see what's going on. Haha! (enjoy the video)

Just another day

Well, didn't do much today. Was out the whole day following my dad to work...cause the lazy rabbit wana hitch a ride to the office in the evening. We did two arrivals today, fetching 2 different group of tourists to their respective hotel. I'm still trying to conquer the fear of starting a topic with foreigners. Maybe I should study more about Singapore first haha..."Welcome to Singapore..." the usual standard phrase. Anyway, I still think red wine tastes so much better than any other kind of alcohols. Yes...I'm drinking now haha. Craving for tiramisu...

视看中元节的文化艺术

今天是华人初一十五，中元节。跟每年一样，我们的老人会 总会住动地去策画一年一度的庆祝中元联欢宴会及拜拜。从昨晚十点到十一点多，我们的组屋楼下已是非常的热闹。在所为的鬼门开之前，参于老人会的许多邻居都 到楼下准备拜即所需要的物品。。。而十二点的钟声响起时，大家就会帮整座组屋的人民拜拜求平安。我个人觉得很温馨。说实在，这些举动是道教的传统吧，但是 它也已经成为一种文化。虽然我不是很明白这些传统的由来，但是我把它视为一种文化艺术。。。还满有趣的。就在今天一大早到上午的时候，整座组屋非常的热 闹。左邻右舍的邻居，包括我老爸，都是忙忙碌碌地上下电梯。。。上巴杀，买东买西，准备拜即物品，烧香，烧金纸，拜拜。而那些老人会的主办者，包括邻居阿 公阿妈, aunties & uncles, 都会成群地坐在楼下聊天，拿一些自己种的水果请大家吃和准备投标的物件。然而，在大家里里外外的忙着时。。。宴会桌椅碗快杯都已经摆好，也不段地传出试麦 和音乐的声音。大家上课下课，上班下班，准备这准备那，嘻嘻笑笑的。一眼顺间，离宴会的时间只省几个小时。今年的宴会，我们家族就拥有四桌！都是姑姑伯伯 加我老爸。。。超会标的哈哈。不知道今年会不会跟去年一样好玩？宴会，歌台等，把每年的中元节抄得热热闹闹的。去年有881, 今年有12 Lotus? haha.

原来。。。我们的家族是在维持从阿公流传下来的一种传统。

This is what I have been up to today. Met up with daph & yw in the early afternoon for a skate, and joan & ernest for the photo exhibition in the evening. Cool. Haha. Okay, time to be back to my portfolio...this is what I'm going to be up to for the rest of this week & maybe next week. :X
