What have Zhiqi done this week? Sat: Swimming, Sun: ???, Mon: Rushing magazine articles...cus mostly came in late!!, Tues: Same as mon...worked till 10.30pm?, Wed: Same...worked till 12am midnight, Thurs: Phew...we are now left with around 10%? of work to wrap up for next month issue...expected to be out on the shelves by next week? Fri (Tmr): One of our advertisement is coming in late...so we gona push the printing date to tmr...and which is lucky for us as we do not have to rush it out by today haha.

Alright now is 2.30pm...maybe you are wondering why am I blogging now? The reason is our editor is using my com now to edit all our articles haha...therefore am pretty free now to blog while waiting. This coming month master we are featuring the boss of limousine services, founder of IndoChine group...cool interior & exterior...a great service to rent it if you are considering to hold a cocktail party in the limousine haha. Rental fee: S$350 an hour.

Ok...next news, Larry, the lavender flower own by our new intern, Weiting, ...had passed away during a stormy night recently. Larry fell from duno how many floors up...the remains were being swept away by the sweeper during dawn...before Weiting realised it. Poor Larry...the owner had thus decided to hold a funeral party for her at some beach hahaha...and now she is only left with Ros, the rose.

Hmm...let me see...I have not send my powerbook to hospital for diagnosis, open a new saving acct to help me save money, checking with CPF for the actual amount of payment needed to pay back my dad, go for facial appointment & return dued library books. Argh...so many troublesome things...am so lazy especially during weekend :( . It's time to start saving more as I realised that I have not been saving for the past 1 year of work!! Can you imagine? Haha. Right now, I came out with a list of things...cut down on unnessarily spending, every thing cut cost! cut cost! & Cut Cost! Hahaha. I really need to save up now...if not how am I going to study Uni, go overseas and future? Currently I'm aiming to get into Laselle bachelor of fine arts...but dun really noe if I can use my dip in visual communication to skip their foundation year. Anyway this year I missed the application date...gona wait till next year and anyway im still bound with a contract...can't study also. Is ok...spend the time now to prepare for the entry interview and beef up my portfolio (alot more works to be done)...and pray hard to get in haha.

Few days ago I had actually chatted with Roy through msn...he seems to have given up his dream to be a graphic designer. Long working hours and lesser pay job (unless freelancing)...and every year there are so many designers graduating from design school to compete with you...gona be a tough industry to survive and climb the rank...and he had heard and seen alot of designers giving up their post and switching to other well-paid jobs. Well then I told him that...everyone live with a different purpose...you have to know what you really want to achieve in the end...big bucks or dream? Of course it will be great if we can achieve both at the same time haha...who doesn't want? And I would rather pursue my dream...work hard for it and have no regrets. Money is a killer thing...it just make up the entire materialistic world.

HaPpy CNY EveryOne! HoHO~After weEks/moNths of preparationS...frOm spring Cleaning, buYing of neW clothes, stoCking up fooD to laSt min shoppIng of new yeAr gooDies...fInally! CNY is here!!! HahA. Hasn't been really looking forward to it as there were so much things to prepare...however, my mood iterally went higHer after the CNY coUntdowN...with all the new yeAr musiC blastiNg throUgh mediA...I was giveN an Off day from work during the eve and woke up early in the moRning...ard 10am? Went to a neArby salon to trim & did treatment...then after i went out with mum & dad to market and boUght thoSe that we left out...and nIght timE we had ouR steamboat reunion dinner. The neXt day during 'chu yi', we went several relatives' houses to 'bai nian' and we started from 1.30pm to 11.00pm...am realLy tired after reaching homE ard 12.00am...buT i had fuN with my couSins at grAndma's house...plAying TABOO!!! hOho...a gAme that will make you lauGh likE mad hahAha.

So the next day 'Chu Er', my job was to be at home and help out...and relatives started flowing in around 11.00am....all the way till 12.00am midnight. From morning to night, my mUm spent most of her time in the kitchen preparing food & steamboat for different batches of relatives...daddy went in and out, helping out in kitchen, entertainiNg relatives & sometimes have to leave us to manage his urgent work after recieving last min calls....while the rest of our jobs were to serve drinks, goodies and play with our cousins hahaha...and throughout the whole day...i had played Blackjack, manjong, Taboo, Di-dilly-di, Who-What-huh, Timetable gAme & connecting wordS hohO! Some games were so funny & eXciting that we kept ShouTing, ScreaMing, GueSsing & LauGhing!!...sO loud that I think the neighbOUrs can hear us toO haha. Breakfast to Dinner....SteAmbOAt!! Can you imagIne? Haha...But it wAs intereSting toO and had beEn a tradition foR us...sitting with diffeRent groUps of relatives duriNg the meals...accomPanying, chatting & enjoying the delicioUS food. Lastly we had our red wine to go with our snacks at night & oh yA...thAnks jiA pei cousin for mixing Ribena-Apple-Barcadi drink for me...it wAs yuMmy~ Hehe....

'Chu San', the third day of new yeaR...onE of our auntie came to our houSe and 'bai nian'.....in the evening me & my family went ovEr to our cousiN houSe for dinner & manjoNg seSsion...thaTs where i started learNing the advance stage of manjong...pheW~not eaSy at all leArning all the 'Tai' hahaha.

On the fourth day, 'Chu Si'...Sunday...my other relatives came to our houSe in the morning till noOn and we had steAmboat lunCh together. HowevEr I can't joiN them for the rest of the 'bai nian' activities as I'm going to Max Ong (ex-teacher) house with my bUddieS. We reached around 3.30pm at Woodlands...thanKs min for driving hehE...we had karaokE session, blackjack for awhile, manjong, some playing piano, singing, taking photo, plAying with the 4 years old Celest, and 3 months old baby girl...plus a KFC dinner 'party' hahA! On the road back, we were all in Min's car, scrolling down the window to let wind get onto our face, listening to pop muSic, chattIng and taking phoTo...whAt a wAy to relAx reAlly haha! Really love that momenT when we wEre all in the cAr...juS like onE whole familY =) ChEErS buDds!! ThAnks for that niGHt hOhoho~shAll meeT up soOn yA! HuGZ!!!
